From April 11, 2008, the restaurant Šestica has started the “Slovenian Evening” programme, which offers live music and folklore performance along an excellent dinner. At the arrival the guests are greeted by staff members in national costumes, offering bread and salt. During the programme dances from different regions of Slovenia are performed, and guests are kindly invited to participate.

  • Welcome dish: home made bread, salt


  • Soup: mushroom soup, veal stew with buckwheat žganci


  • Slovenian platter: grilled sausage, slovenian blood sausage, roast pork, braised smoked pork leg, sauerkraut, turnip, roasted potatoes, buckwheat dumplings, cracklingsDessert:potica (nut stuffing), apple strudel, the prekmurje layered cake


  • Drinks:red and white table wine (unlimited quantity)
